Additional Information

The A Capella D model includes a poured-concrete basement that can be configured as a standard basement, a half-basement, or a garden-level basement, depending on the lot. This space is delivered unfinished, allowing it to be developed later according to your needs. Like our other single-family models, the A Capella D can be adapted to accommodate certain permitted modifications. Typical construction time ranges from 6 to 9 months, including the planning stage, and the home is covered by the GCR warranty. The open-concept main floor is designed to maximize natural light, the garage is delivered unfinished, and the roof is finished with architectural shingles with a limited lifetime warranty.

Features of the A Capella D Model

The A Capella D stands out for the option to create a fourth bedroom on the upper floor by enclosing the cathedral ceiling space above the living room. The stairs leading to the upper floor and basement are open and finished in hardwood, adding warmth and character to the main living area. The layout also allows for the addition of a pantry or home office on the main floor, depending on the selected configuration. This flexibility makes the model especially well suited to households that need more adaptable living space without compromising the home’s overall architectural style.

How This Model Adapts to Your Lot and Project

The A Capella D model is offered exclusively in Cantley. Its deeper footprint makes it best suited to lots with sufficient depth to support both the home and its exterior layout. It can also be adapted to sloped lots, including walkout or garden-level basement configurations where site conditions allow. Depending on the project, exterior finishes may include masonry and fibre cement, and front landscaping may be included. Where municipal services are not available, the well and septic system are installed according to local requirements.
