Additional Information

The Horizon Single-Family model includes a poured-concrete basement that can be configured as a standard basement, a half-basement, or a garden-level basement, depending on the lot. This space is delivered unfinished, allowing for future customization based on the household’s needs. Like our other single-family models, the Horizon can be adapted to accommodate certain permitted modifications. Construction time generally ranges from 6 to 9 months, including the planning stage, and the home is covered by the GCR warranty. Its design emphasizes natural light through a bright open-concept layout, while the garage is delivered unfinished and the roof is finished with architectural shingles with a limited lifetime warranty.

Features of the Horizon Single-Family Model

The Horizon Single-Family model stands out for its flexibility and its ability to accommodate certain exterior modifications based on the needs of the project. It comes with a rear deck, and a covered version may also be added depending on the selected configuration. This creates the opportunity for a more sheltered and intimate outdoor living space. The model also includes a garage access door located at the rear, although its position may be adjusted to better suit the lot layout and intended use of the space. These features integrate naturally into the design and offer additional flexibility while preserving the model’s clean architectural style.

How This Model Adapts to Your Lot and Project

The Horizon Single-Family model fits naturally into the communities where it is offered, particularly in Cantley and Wakefield. It can be adapted to gently sloped lots, as certain components of the plan may be adjusted to better reflect the site’s topography. Because of its larger footprint, the model is best suited to lots that offer enough space for both the home and its exterior layout. Depending on the project, exterior finishes may include durable materials selected for long-term performance. Front landscaping may also be included where planned, and when municipal services are not available, the well and septic system are installed according to local requirements.
