Kitchen Residential project

A Well-Designed First Home

Designed as a first home, the Tenor B model has proven to be the perfect choice for this single-family residence. With a contemporary style and a Scandinavian touch, the project emphasizes natural light and intelligent space organization, featuring a generous and welcoming central kitchen.

The Project

The project is based on the Tenor B model to concretely meet the needs expressed by our clients for their first home. The floor plan offers three bedrooms and two full bathrooms upstairs, while integrating the laundry room on the main floor—an important choice to simplify daily life.

In this model, the kitchen occupies a central position at the heart of the open-concept area. Its large island and direct opening to the living and dining rooms create a fluid social space, allowing you to cook without being isolated from the rest of the house. The generous fenestration also plays a key role in the project, allowing abundant natural light to enter and maintaining a constant connection with the outdoor environment.

The entire project stands out for its efficient design that offers features typically associated with larger homes, while respecting a realistic budget for a first property.

Our Vision for the Project

Our vision was based on the idea of offering a complete and well-designed home, despite a floor area of 1,525 sq. ft. The large windows were integrated to maximize natural light and create a constant relationship with the outdoor environment—a central element of the desired quality of life.

The large central island, designed as an ultra-functional space, supports daily activities and structures the living area. Upstairs, the presence of two full bathrooms meets the family’s needs without compromise, while the integration of the laundry room on the main floor simplifies daily life by avoiding unnecessary trips.

This thoughtful design demonstrates that a medium-sized home can offer features typically associated with much larger residences.

Central Kitchen Open to the Living Area

The kitchen was designed as the heart of the main floor, with a large central island and direct opening to the living and dining rooms, promoting conviviality and daily interaction.

The project design offers features generally associated with larger homes, while maintaining efficient and coherent organization within a well-controlled floor area.

The Priorities Established by Our Clients

We were looking for a first home in nature, but without being cut off from the world. It was important for us to have plenty of natural light and a home well-suited to our daily life.

We wanted to have two full bathrooms upstairs and avoid having the laundry room in the basement. For us, these were choices that truly simplify day-to-day life. The kitchen also had to be a central space, large enough and welcoming, fully open to the main floor, so we could cook while staying connected with the rest of the house.
